| Removing the exhaust pipe with front silencer and accessories |
Note| First check whether a coded radio is fitted. If this is the case consult the anti-theft coding. |
| – | With the ignition switched off, disconnect battery earth strap. |
| – | Remove the lower engine protection → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50. |
| – | Separate the lambda probe behind the pre-catalyst -G130--18- connector underneath the starter motor support. |
Note| When replacing the front exhaust pipe, remove the lambda probe behind precatalyst -G130--12- with the wrench kit -3337-. |
| – | Loosen the front exhaust pipe-9- from the securing elements -10-. |
| – | Loosen the nuts -8- and remove the double clamp -7-. |
| – | Remove nuts -16-. |
| – | Remove the front exhaust pipe -9- from the lower studs of the exhaust manifold with precatalyst -3-. |
