t  Installation tool -T10118-

t  Extractor -T10094 A-   Note The housing for the ignition coils and final power stages has been modified. As a result, the ignition coils can only be removed and mounted using the extractor -T10094 A-. The former extractor -T10094- may still be used if it is modified as follows.

–  Reduce the marked zone -2- using suitable workshop methods to reach a new nominal measurement -B- of 18 mm. –  Additionally identify the tool designation with the letter A -1-.

Removing –  Unlock the engine cover -arrows- and pull upwards.

–  Fit puller -T10094 A- on ignition coil with final output stage -arrow-. –  Lightly extract the ignition coils with output stage. –  Fit assembly tool -T10118- as shown. –  Carefully release the connector lock and remove the connector. Installing –  Fit puller -T10094 A- on ignition coil with final output stage. –  Push connector onto ignition coil with final output stage until it audibly engages.

–  Insert the ignition coil with output stage in the cylinder head in the -direction of the arrow-.

–  Fit engine cover clipping on tabs -arrows-.
