Active carbon filter system - Components overview
1 - Breather line
q   Towards the solenoid valve 1 for the active carbon filter (pulsed) -N80- in engine cavity
q   Check that it is seated securely
2 - Vent pipe with pressure retention valve
q   From the gravity valve → Item on the fuel tank
q   Check that it is seated securely
3 - Breather connection
q   Visible from below
4 - 10 Nm
5 - Throttle valve control mechanism -J338-
q   6-pin connector
q   Gold plated contacts
q   Heated by coolant
q   If the throttle valve control mechanism is replaced, the new control part must be adapted to the engine control unit → Chapter; Functions and components:
q   check → Chapter
6 - Solenoid valve 1 for active carbon filter (pulsed) -N80-
q   In engine compartment, right
q   Valve closed with ignition switched off
q   Valve is activated (pulsed) by engine control unit when engine is warm
7 - Electric connector
q   2-pin, black
8 - Active carbon filter
q   Installation location: in front right wheel housing
q   To remove:
Remove rear right-hand side wheel.
Remove the rear right wheel housing protection
Remove pipes → Item and → Item
Remove bolt → Item and detach tank by bottom part
