Air filter: Removing and fitting, engine code letters AZQ, BME and BXV .
Air filter: Removing and fitting, engine code letters AZQ, BME and BXV .
  Note
t  The air filter is built into the engine cover.
t  At air temperatures of below -10 °C, the engine compartment requires a higher atmospheric temperature for dismounting work in order to avoid damage to the air filter housing.
   
Removal:
  E24-0200
–  Remove engine protection together with air filter -arrows-, separate the gas vent pipe from the engine.
–  Remove bolts → Item fixing the air filter casing and the upper part of the air filter/engine cover.
–  Remove the air filter.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
–  Fit bolts → Item fixing the air filter casing and the upper part of the air filter/engine cover noting the relevant fitting instructions → Chapter.
–  Fit the rubber supports of the air filter housing over the bolts attached to the engine.

–  Fit the cover by pressing at the points indicated -arrows-.
