Oil filter, oil pressure switch > < Removing and installing oil sump
Oil pump: removing and installing
Oil pump: removing and installing
Removal:
–  Disconnect battery → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove alternator → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Remove crankshaft oil seal on belt pulley end → Chapter.
   
–  Unscrew securing bolts -arrows- and remove tensioning element.

–  Unscrew oil pump securing bolts -1- and -2-.
–  Pull oil pump off dowel pins on cylinder block in a straight line.

–  Remove gasket -1- from dowel pins -arrows-.
Installation

–  Fit new gasket -1- onto dowel pins -arrows-.

–  Rotate oil pump gear to a position where 2 opposing notches -arrows- are aligned vertically.
–  Fit oil pump onto dowel pins.
–  Tighten new securing bolts -1- to 8 Nm + turn 90° further.

–  Tighten the bolts -2- to 20 Nm.
–  Install new crankshaft oil seal on belt pulley end → Chapter.

–  Mount tensioning element using new securing bolts -arrows- and tighten to 8 Nm + turn 90° further.
–  Fit the oil sump → Chapter.
–  Install toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Install alternator → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
