Assembly sequence for mounting catalytic converter to cylinder head
Assembly sequence for mounting catalytic converter to cylinder head
  Note
Before installing, coat threads of lock nuts and stud bolts with high-temperature paste -N 052.112.00- according to TL 521 12.
   
–  Fit bracket -10- to cylinder block and tighten to 23 Nm.
–  Loosely fit bracket -11- to bracket -10-.
–  Guide gasket -2- onto stud bolts.
–  Loosely install nuts -4-.
–  Tighten 3 nuts -4- to 23 Nm.
–  Bolt bracket -11- to catalytic converter.
–  Tighten bolt -8- to the torque of 23 Nm.
–  Bolt bracket -11- to bracket -10- and tighten to 23 Nm.
–  Tighten remaining nut -4- to 23 Nm.
