Removing and installing Lambda probe -G39- Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Tool set, 17 mm -T10395-

t  Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-

t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- Carry out the following work: Removal:

–  Press locking lugs -arrows- and pull intake connection off -1- in -direction of arrow-.

–  Disconnect hose -1- at air cleaner housing. –  Pull air filter housing upwards off studs at positions -2- and -3-.

–  Unlock and disconnect connector underneath lambda probe -G39--arrow-. Steckerfarbe schwarz -  Lambda probe -G39- Steckerfarbe braun -  Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- –  Remove wiring harness from guides.

–  Unscrew lambda probe -G39--1- from catalytic converter -2-. Installation Installation is in the reverse sequence of removal. Note the following: Grease only the threads with „G 052 112 A3“ The „G 052 112 A3“ must not get into the slots on the probe body. If seal is leaking, nip open and renew.

Tightening torque:
