q | Crankshaft: removing and installing → Chapter |
q | Pistons and conrods: removing and installing → Chapter |
2 - | 50 Nm |
q | Tightening sequence |
q | Upper right bolt first, then lower right bolt, and bolts on left last (as seen from direction of travel) |
3 - | Oil filter |
q | Loosen on the hexagon, using turning tool -U-40078- or a universal filter extractor |
q | Tighten by hand |
q | Note instructions on filter when installing |
4 - | Bolt |
q | M8, 20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) |
q | M10, 45 Nm |
5 - | 10 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 °) |
q | Renew |
q | Remove sump/engine block distribution side bolts (4 bolts) via the interior part of the oil sump |
6 - | Oil sump |
q | two part |
q | Separate and fit → Chapter |
q | To remove and fit, remove oil sump cover |
q | Clean sealing surface before installing |
q | Fit with silicone sealant -D 176 404 A2- → Chapter |
7 - | Oil drain screw, 30 Nm |
q | With attached seal |
q | Renew |
8 - | Additional sub-frame bracket |
q | For ribbed belt tensioning roller, alternator and air conditioning/heating system compressor |
q | Vehicles with air conditioner/heating system have an additional idler roller |
9 - | Tensioning device for ribbed belt |
q | Only for vehicles with air conditioning/heating system |
q | Ribbed belt: Separating and fitting → Chapter |
10 - | Connector bracket |
