Note! | To carry out these work sequences, the battery earth strap must be disconnected. To do so, first check if the vehicle has a coded radio installed, and if necessary, check the anti-theft coding. |

| The engine is removed from above with the gearbox. |

| With ignition off, disconnect the battery earth strap. |
Note! | All cable holders which come loose or break when removing the engine should be reinstalled in the same place during engine installation. |

| Remove the right articulated half shaft, remove the securing bolts and hang up. |
| Vehicles with power assisted steering |

| Suspend the power assisted steering reserve tank. If necessary, remove the support from the bodywork. |

| Remove the securing bolts for the power assisted steering vane pump, and fasten pump with wire to the engine support or the engine unit carrier; the hoses are connected → Running gear; Rep. Gr.48. |
