t  Turning tool -U-40050-
Removing
–  Mark direction of rotation of ribbed belt.
–  Loosen alternator securing bolts.

–  Position tool -U-40050- and turn the alternator downwards.
–  Remove the ribbed belt.
Fitting
–  Install the ribbed belt.
  Note!
On fitting the ribbed belt, make sure that it is correctly located on the pulleys.
–  After fitting the ribbed belt with the alternator loose, start the engine (approx. 10 turns) operating the starter briefly.
–  First tighten the lower alternator bolt and then the upper to 25 Nm.
