Installing > < Removing and installing radiator
Removing
Removing
–  Remove centre sound insulation tray: → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.50
–  Removing front bumper: → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.63
–  Removing left and right headlight: → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.94
–  Draining coolant → Chapter
–  Pull coolant hoses off radiator.
–  Disconnect thermo-switch connector and radiator fan connector.
–  Remove lock carrier securing bolts: → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. Gr.50
   
–  Move lock carrier to service position. Use centralizing pins -T20089- when doing this.
Vehicles with an air conditioning system:
–  Release air conditioning system condenser from front of radiator.
–  Carefully tie-up condenser on lock carrier.
Continuation for all vehicles
–  Release fan bracket from radiator, move to side and secure.
–  Unbolt radiator and take out downwards.
  Note!
t  It is recommend that the radiator carrier is also removed simultaneously with the radiator as this eases the removal of the radiator.
