Engine: removing and fitting. > < Timing belt: removing and fitting, tensing|Fitting
Crankshaft sealing flange, on the flywheel side: removing and fitting.

Remove sealing flange
–  Remove the gearbox.
–  Remove the flywheel.
–  Remove oil sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove sealing flange -arrows- .
Fit the sealing flange
  Note
Do not grease or oil the seal lip of the seal
–  Clean sealing surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.
–  Use clean cloth to wipe off oil residue at crankshaft journal.
–  Use the supplied support sleeves for the fitting. The support sleeve must only be removed after fitting the seal flange onto the crankshaft pivot. The sealing flange is housed in pins.

–  Tighten the attachment bolts to 15 Nm -arrows-.
–  Fit the oil sump → Chapter.
Continue installation following reverse order for removing.
