Removal

–	First remove the two toothed belts → Chapter, Toothed belt: removing, installing and tensioning.

–	Turn crankshaft back slightly.

Note!

The camshaft sprockets must be locked with tool -T10016-, and this must be fitted right into the camshaft housing holes.

–	Remove camshaft sprockets. To loosen the bolts, secure the sprockets with locking tool -T10016-.

–	Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor -T20031B-, place it in position and exerting firm pressure screw it into oil seal as far as possible.

–	Turn the inner part against the camshaft until the seal has been removed.

–	Place the extractor in a vise and remove the oilseal with a screwdriver.
