Detach the connector
-1-
of the exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235-.
–
Unscrew the securing bolts
-arrows-
and remove the engine soundproofing..
Note
The screwed joint is accessed from below.
Unscrew the exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235-

from exhaust manifold.

Fitting
l
Specified torque: 45 Nm.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Apply hot bolt paste to the thread of the exhaust gas temperature sender
→ Spare parts catalogue

Fit cable ties in the original positions when installing.
Location of the exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235-:
l
Angled shaft must have a distance

= 3 … 5 mm to bolting of turbocharger support.
