Removing and installing oil pump
Removing
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove circlip -1- using circlip pliers.
–  Screw a M3 bolt -2- in and pull drive shaft out of oil pump -arrow-.
–  Unscrew bolt -4- and pull suction pipe off oil pump.
–  Remove bolts -13- and -35- and remove oil pump.
  Caution
Bolt on intermediate gear wheel must not be loosened.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t  Renew O-ring.
t  Renew damaged or over-tensioned circlip.
t  Circlip must lie in base of groove.
–  Ensure both dowel sleeves are in place before installing oil pump.
–  Install sump → Chapter.
