Removing and installing fuel gauge senderG
Removing and installing fuel gauge sender -G-

Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Turning tool -T20207-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Observe safety precautions → Chapter
–  Observe rules for cleanliness → Chapter.
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
  Note
Before disconnecting connectors on the fuel supply sensor -G- unlock retaining clips on plug contacts.

–  Unlock the connector clips -1- and -2-, and unplug the connectors.
–  Unlock retaining clips -3- and -4-, and pull out fuel supply sensor -G- downward -arrow-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Insert fuel gauge sender -G- into guides on fuel delivery unit and press downwards until it clicks into place.
–  Plug in electrical connector and make sure it is correctly engaged.
–  Install fuel delivery unit → Anchor.
