Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- and Heater for lambda probe 1, after the catalytic converter -Z29-: Removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor.
t  Installing → Anchor.
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Spanner -U 40080-, see equivalent → Anchor

t  Torque wrench (40 - 200 Nm) -V.A.G 1332-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
  W00-0428
–  Unscrew bolt -arrow- and remove coolant expansion reservoir. Keep coolant lines connected.
  A19-10068
–  Remove the electrical connector -1- form the lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130- and the heating for lambda probe 1 after the catalytic converter -Z29-.
–  Loosen all line holders on lambda probe -G130--1-.
  A24-10138
–  Unbolt the Lambda probe after the catalytic converter -G130--1- using the Spanner -U 40080- .
Installing
When installing, note the following:

t  The screw thread on the new lambda probe is coated with a special paste; the paste must not get into the slots on the probe body.
t  With used lambda probes, heat the bolt before coating with paste. The paste must not get into the slots on the probe body. For high-temperature paste refer to → Parts catalogue.
t  When assembling, the lambda probe cable must be fixed in its original position to avoid contact with the exhaust pipe.
t  Tightening torque: 55 Nm.
