1 - 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   To loosen and tighten securing bolt, counterhold supercharger shaft with 16 mm spanner.
q   replace
2 - Pulley
q   For supercharger.
3 - 23 Nm
4 - Tensioning element
q   For supercharger poly V-belt
q   Relieve tension using 16 mm spanner.
q   Lock with locking pin -T10060 A-.
5 - 8 Nm
6 - Coolant pump with magnetic clutch for supercharger -N421-
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   Removing and installing coolant pump pulley → Chapter.
7 - 23 Nm
8 - Tensioning element
q   For Poly-V belt
q   Relieve tension using 16 mm open-end spanner -T10241-.
q   Lock with locking pin -T10060 A-.
  Note
t  Vehicles with a manual gearbox: idler roller installed instead of tensioning element.
t  Specified torque for securing bolt: 40 Nm.
9 - 23 Nm
10 - Alternator
11 - Pulley
q   For crankshaft
q   With diamond coated washer
q   Contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease.
12 - Securing bolt
q   Removing and installing crankshaft pulley → Chapter.
q   replace
q   Contact surface for securing bolt must be free of oil and grease.
q   Oil threads before inserting.
q   Secure belt pulley against turning with counterhold -3415-.
q   Turning further can be done in several stages.
q   The turning further angle can be measured with a commercial protractor.
13 - 40 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
q   Removing and installing when the vehicle is lifted
q   replace
14 - Air conditioning compressor
15 - 23 Nm
16 - Tensioning element
q   For Poly-V belt
q   Relieve tension with spanner.
q   Lock with 4 mm Allen key.
17 - Poly-V belt
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing.
  Caution
When installing poly V-belt, observe direction of rotation and make sure it is properly seated on pulleys and tensioning elements.
q   Removing and installing poly V-belt → Chapter.
18 - Poly-V belt
q   For supercharger.
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing.
  Caution
When installing poly V-belt, observe direction of rotation and make sure it is properly seated on pulleys and tensioning elements.
