Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Counterhold -T20018B-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Guide sleeve -T20081B-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Extractor kit -T20143-, see equivalent → Anchor

Removing
–  Remove the notched belt → Chapter.
–  Remove the camshaft sprocket. To loosen the bolt, immobilise the sprocket with the counterhold -T20018B-.
–  Remove the camshaft pin.
   
–  Insert the puller -T20143- and extract the seal.
Fitting
Do not oil sealing lip of oil seal
  E15-0259
–  Fit the oil seal in adapter -T20081B/3- and place assembly onto the camshaft.
–  Use the adapter -T20081B/1- and press the guide sleeve-oil seal assembly until the seal is in position. Use the sprocket fastening belt for this.
–  Remove the adaptor -T20081B/3-.
–  Fit and tension notched belt → Chapter.
Continue the fitting, following the reverse order of the removal process.
