–  Remove ribbed belt → Chapter
–  Remove toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove crankshaft toothed belt sprocket. To do this immobilize the sprocket with counter support -T20018A-.
  Note!
When fitting tool -T20018A-, fit two washers between the toothed belt sprocket and the tool.
–  Drain engine oil.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Unbolt front sealing flange.
–  Remove sealing flange. If necessary, release by gently tapping with a rubber mallet.
–  Remove sealant residue on cylinder block with a flat scraper.

–  Remove sealant remains on sealing flange with a rotating plastic brush (wear protective glasses).
–  Clean sealing surface, must be free of oil and grease.
