Fuel supply unit and fuel level indicator sender: Assembly overview
1 - Fuel delivery unit
q   Checking fuel pump (electrical test) → Chapter
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Put at least 5 litres of fuel into tank after installing
2 - Fuel gauge senders -G-
q   Checking resistance values → Chapter
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
3 - Depending on version
4 - Seal
q   Replace
q   Install dry
5 - Fuel return line
q   From fuel filter.
q   Mark before removing
q   To disengage, press the clip in the joint to unlock it
q   Do not kink
q   Note the direction of the arrow (fuel supply or fuel return system) on flange when installing
q   Install on fuel tank
6 - Fuel supply line
q   To fuel filter
q   Mark before removing
q   To disengage, press the clip in the joint to unlock it
q   Do not kink
q   Note the direction of the arrow (fuel supply or fuel return system) on flange when installing
q   Install on fuel tank
7 - Electric connector
q   For fuel pump -G6-
8 - Electric connector
q   For the fuel gauge sender -G-
9 - Locking ring, 110 Nm
q   Check for secure seating.
q   Removing and installing with the rotation tool -T10202-
10 - Electric connector
q   For fuel pump control unit -J538-
11 - Fuel pump control unit -J538-
q   Installation location: On the cover of the fuel delivery unit.
12 - Spray jet:
