Sealing flanges and flywheel: Assembly overview
1 - Oil seal
q   Do not grease or oil the seal lip of the seal
q   Before installing, remove oil residue from crankshaft journal using a clean cloth.
q   Renewing crankshaft oil seal on pulley end → Chapter
2 - Sealing flange on the pulley side
q   Must sit on dowel sleeves
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Fit with silicon-based sealant → Parts Catalogue → Chapter
3 - cylinder block
q   Removing and installing crankshaft → Chapter.
q   Dismantling and assembling pistons and conrods → Chapter
4 - 60 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn) further
q   6 off
q   Replace
5 - Flywheel
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
6 - Intermediate plate
q   Must sit on dowel sleeves
q   Do not damage or bend when assembling.
7 - 15 Nm
q   Replace
8 - Sealing flange with sealing ring
q   Only replace the unit complete with the sealing ring and sender wheel
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
9 - Engine speed sender -G28-
q   Unfasten and tighten with a conventional Allen key with spherical head.
q   Tightening torque: 5 Nm
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
