Removing and installing cowling together with radiator fan -V7- and radiator fan on right of radiator -V35- t  Cowling with radiator fan -V7- and radiator fan, right side -V35-: Removing → Anchor t  Cowling with radiator fan -V7- and radiator fan, right side -V35-: Fitting → Anchor

Removing –  Remove the engine cover upwards -arrows-.

–  Remove the air conduit cover by releasing the side tabs -arrows-.

–  Unclip lower air duct -2- by releasing retaining clips on left and right -arrow A-. –  Detach lower air duct at mounting brackets -3-; swing lower air duct backwards slightly for this. –  Disengage air pipe -1- from air duct (bottom) -arrow B-.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove air duct from lock carrier.

–  Unscrew bolts -upper arrows- for cowling.   Note t  The bolts -lower arrows- are removed at a later stage. t  Disregard item -1-.

–  Fit the centre noise insulation -fasteners 1 ... 3-.

–  Remove the connecting hose »gearbox side« to the charge air pipe. Release hose clips -1- and -2- for this.

–  Unplug connector -1-. –  Unscrew lower bolts -lower arrows-. –  Remove cowling with radiator fans upwards.

–  Unplug connector -1- and disconnect the connectors -2- when required. –  Remove cables from the guides. –  Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the radiator fan. Installing Installation is in the reverse sequence of removal.
