Removing and installing dual-mass flywheel
t  Remove dual-mass flywheel → Anchor
t  Dual-mass flywheel: Fitting → Anchor
t  Dual-mass flywheel: Tightening torque → Anchor
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hose clamp -3067-, see equivalent → Anchor

Removing
l  Gearbox removed.
  Caution
Risk of damage to dual-mass flywheel.
t  Screw out bolts -B- not with an air wrench or power impact wrench but by hand. The bolts -B- must be loosened by hand.
t  When loosening the bolts -B-, ensure that the head is not trapped in the flywheel.
t  Rotate dual-mass flywheel -A- so that bolts -B- align centrally with the holes -arrows-.

–  Insert the retention tool -3067- into the hole in the engine block.
–  Mark the position of the flywheel in relation to the engine.
–  Unscrew bolts and remove dual-mass flywheel.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:

Renew bolts for dual-mass flywheel.
Tightening torque
  A13-0570

Flywheel to crankshaft60 + 90° 1)
l  1) 90° is equivalent to a quarter turn
