Removing and installing injector for reduction agent -N474-
  Note
To keep the following description as short as possible the „NOx reduction agent AUS 32“ (AdBlue®) is just called a reduction agent.
  WARNING
t  The reduction agent can irritate skin, eyes and respiratory organs.
t  After skin contact with this agent, wash immediately with plenty of water.
t  If necessary seek advice from a doctor.
Removing
  Caution
Protect separated electrical connections against wetting from reduction agent by suitable means, e.g. plastic bag and cable ties. Electrical connections may be damaged due to the high penetration ability along with subsequent crystallisation of the reduction agent.
–  Disconnect electrical connector on injector for reduction agent -N474-.
   
–  First press securing clip for line connection on injector for reduction agent -N474- together in direction of -arrow 1.- as shown, and pull off delivery line in direction of -arrow 2.- without tools and without »jerking«.
  Caution
Immediately seal all openings and connections using suitable plugs to stop ingress of dirt. The smallest particle of dirt can cause extensive damage to the system.
–  Open clamp → Item and remove injector for reduction agent -N474-.
Installing
–  Install injector for reduction agent -N474- with a new sealing washer, observing lug on reducer catalytic converter (electrical connector faces upwards).
–  Place new securing clamp over connection and press it together until it engages. This action locates the injector for reduction agent -N474-.
–  Fit bolt and tighten to prescribed torque → Item.
–  First reconnect electrical connector, then reconnect delivery line.
