  Note
t  All hose connections are secured.
t  Charge air system must be free of leaks.
t  Renew self-locking nuts.
t  Before fitting the oil supply pipe, put engine oil in the turbocharger using the connection sleeve.
t  After installing turbocharger, run engine for about 1 minute at idling speed to ensure that oil is supplied to turbocharger.
   
1 - Exhaust gas recirculation pipe
q   With flexible joint; do not bend flexible joint - danger of crack formation.
2 - Seal
q   Replace
3 - 17 Nm
q   Replace
4 - Oil supply pipe
q   Make sure it does not have any interruptions.
q   Before installing, fill turbocharger with engine oil at oil supply line connection.
q   Tighten the union nut with spark plug spanner -T40055- to 22 Nm.
5 - Oil return pipe
6 - Seal
q   Replace
7 - 24 Nm
8 - Heat shield
9 - Turbocharger
q   Can only be renewed complete with intake manifold and vacuum unit.
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
10 - Retaining ring
q   Can only be fitted in one position
11 - O ring
q   Replace
12 - Pulsation damper
13 - 9 Nm
14 - Inlet connection
15 - 9 Nm
q   Attached in inlet connection.
16 - O ring
q   Replace
17 - Spring retainer
q   For the electric wiring
18 - 15 Nm
19 - Heat shield
20 - Seal
q   Replace
21 - 24 Nm
