Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Vacuum pump -VAS 6213-, see equivalent → Anchor

Checking sequence
–  Disconnect the plug connector from the solenoid valve 1 for the active carbon filter -N80- and from the fuel pressure sender, low pressure -G410--arrows-.
–  Remove the solenoid valve 1 for activated carbon filter -N80--B- from hose -A-.

–  Move the ring -1- of the manual vacuum pump -VAS 6213- to position -A- for „vacuum“.

–  Connect the vacuum pump -VAS 6213- on the hose to the dual non-return valve -arrow-.
–  Operate the vacuum pump -VAS 6213- a few times, a vacuum must be created.
If no vacuum is created, replace the double non-return valve.
