Removing
–  Remove the air conduit cover by releasing the side tabs -arrows-.

–  Release the lower air duct by releasing the tabs -arrows-.
–  Detach bottom section of air duct with air hose.

–  Remove bolts -1- at top.
  Note
Ignore positions -2 and 3-.

–  Release the hose clamp -2-.
–  Remove bolt -4-.
–  Disconnect electrical connector -arrow-.
  Note
Ignore positions -1 and 3-.

–  Release the fasteners -1 and 2- to remove the central soundproofing sump.

–  Remove the air conduit guard -Pos. 1 and 2-.

–  Unscrew bolts -1- and remove the air duct.
  Note
Ignore positions -2,3, 4- and the -arrow-.

–  Disconnect connector -2-.
–  Remove bolts -3- and take out air cowl downwards.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; noting the following in the process:
Tightening torques:
  A19-10146
Qty.Nm
Radiator fan to air vent10
Cowling to radiator5

–  Install air pipes/hoses with plug-in connectors → Chapter.
