1 - Bolt.
q   9 Nm.
2 - Chain tensioner
q   Exerts spring pressure
q   Before dismounting, check using the support tool -T40011-
3 - Distribution chain tension rail
4 - Guide pin
q   20 Nm.
5 - Bolt.
q   9 Nm.
6 - Timing valve
q   Left-hand thread.
q   35 Nm.
q   With those engines with identification letters BYT and BZB, using the Assembly tool -T10352-
q   With those engines with identification letters CDAA, using the Assembly tool -T10352/1-
7 - Bolt.
q   Replace
q   M6: 8 Nm and then turn 90° further
q   M8: 20 Nm and then turn 90° further
8 - Washer
9 - Bridge-bearing
10 - Slide rail for the distribution chain
11 - Camshaft housing
12 - Timing chain
q   Before removing, mark running direction with paint
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Checking valve timing → Chapter.
13 - Slide rail for the distribution chain
14 - Guide pin
q   20 Nm.
15 - Pinions
q   Crankshaft
q   Installation position → Fig.
