Turbocharger

Note

t	Secure the hose connections with original clamps.

t	The couplings and air hoses of the supercharging system must be free from oil and grease before assembling.

t	The supercharger air system should not leak

t	Renew self-locking nuts.

t	Hose clip pliers -VAS 6340- are recommended for fitting spring-type hose clips.

Caution

Note the following points after repairing the turbocharger:

t	Fill turbocharger with engine oil at oil supply pipe connection.

t	Start the engine after installing the turbocharger and allow to run for approx. 1 min at idling speed.

t	Do not accelerate immediately to ensure oil delivery of the turbocharger.
