8 - Spark plug, 25 Nm
  Note
t  If new spark plugs are assembled, the spark plug connections must be lubricated with the lubricating paste -G 052 141 A2-. This prevents the sealing hose of the spark plug connections from sticking to the spark plug. The lubricating paste must be distributed when the spark plug connections are fitted to the spark plugs → Fig..
t  New spark plug cables are already delivered lubricated.
q   Remove and install using the extractor -T10112 A- and the spark plug socket and extension -3122 B-.
q   Type and electrode gap → Chapter.
9 - Knock sensor 1 -G61-
q   Fitting location: located underneath cylinder block manifold
q   removing and installing → Chapter
10 - Electrical connector
11 - 20 Nm
q   Tightening torque influences functions of knock sensor
12 - Ignition transformer -N152-
Note the identification on the ignition cable.

13 - Engine speed sender -G28-
q   Fitting location: On the side of the gearbox beneath the manifold
q   removing and installing → Chapter
14 - 5 Nm
15 - 7 Nm

  Note
t  If new spark plugs are assembled, the spark plug connections must be lubricated with the lubricating paste -G 052 141 A2-. This prevents the sealing hose of the spark plug connections from sticking to the spark plug. The lubricating paste must be distributed when the spark plug connections are fitted to the spark plugs → Fig..
t  New spark plug cables are already delivered lubricated.
   
Grease the spark plug connections.
–  In the area of the sealing hose of the spark plug connection -arrow-, apply a fine cord of lubricating paste -G 052 141 A2-. The bead must have a minimum thickness of 1 ... to 2 mm after assembly.
