Using a knife, carefully cut the seal as shown in figure -arrow-. Always avoid contact between the blade and the body of the valve.
–
Remove used seal and clean seal throat in the corresponding area -arrow-. Remove the sediments (cinders) with a brass brush.
–
Insert a new seal -1- into the assembly cone -T10133/5-. Fit the seal with the assembly sleeve -T10133/6- (the knurled part faces towards the seal -1-) carefully as far as possible in the assembly cone -T10133/5-.
–
Turn the assembly sleeve -T10133/6-.
The knurled section is no longer shown on the seal.
–
Slide a seal -1- up to the end of the assembly cone -T10133/5-.
–
Now place the assembly cone -T10133/5- with the seal in front of the injector. Continue sliding the seal with the assembly sleeve -T10133/6- onto the injector.
The seal is no longer on the throat of the casing.
–
Remove the assembly sleeve -T10133/6- and the assembly cone -T10133/5-.
–
Insert the seal by hand until it enters on the seal throat.
–
Insert the spacer sleeve -T10133/11- on the body of the valve.
–
Now press the calibration sleeve -T10133/7- onto the seal as far as possible on the spacer sleeve -T10133/11-.
–
Remove the calibration sleeve -T10133/7- again
–
Now press the calibration sleeve -T10133/8- onto the seal as far as possible on the spacer sleeve -T10133/11-.
–
Remove the calibration sleeve -T10133/8- again
The Teflon seal now has the correct assembly measurement.
Replace the support washer
–
Remove O-ring -3-.
–
Open the support washer -2- using a small pair of pliers and remove.
–
Now remove the spring element -1- on the injector and replace with the plate safety catch -T10133/12-.
–
Fit the support washer -1- together with the calibration sleeve -T10133/17- up to the first neck on the injection valve (the notched side faces the injection valve) -arrow-.
–
Insert the new support washer -1- on the assembly cone -T10133/13- and fit on the injector as shown in the figure.
–
Now turn the calibration sleeve -T10133/17-.
The knurled section is no longer shown on the injection valve.
–
Move the calibration sleeve -1- in -the direction of the arrow- until it stops at the plate safety catch -T10133/12-.
–
Remove the calibration sleeve -T10133/17- again
The support washer now has the correct assembly measurement.
–
Now mount for the plate safety catch -T10133/12- a new spring element -1- and fit a new O-ring -3- before the support washer-2-.
Note
The Teflon seal must not be oiled -arrow- for the injector assembly.
