Fuel tank > < Releasing pressure in high-pressure area

Removing and installing fuel gauge senderG
Removing and installing fuel gauge sender -G-
Removing:
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
   
–  Press together retaining tabs -arrows- and pull off fuel gauge sender upwards.
–  Note colour co-ordination of cables for reinstallation.

–  Release and detach electrical connectors -1 … 3-. Then lift the securing hooks of the electrical connector.

Installing:
–  Connect connectors -1...3-. Note the colour identification.
–  Check connectors are secured properly by pulling.
–  Insert fuel gauge sender -G- into guide on fuel delivery unit and press down until it engages.
–  Install fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
