Exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- and Potentiometer for exhaust gas recirculation -G212- Removing and installing t  Removing → Anchor t  Fitting → Anchor.

Removing –  Remove central soundproofing -Anchorage points 1 ... 3-.

–  Unbolt heat shield for right drive shaft -arrows-.

–  Loosen lower union nut -arrow- of exhaust gas recirculation connecting pipe.

–  Detach engine cover -arrows- (according to version).

–  Disconnect hoses -1-, -3- and -4-. –  Remove air duct by loosening hose clips -2- and -5-.

–  Remove exhaust gas recirculation connecting pipe on throttle valve connection -arrows-.

–  Unplug connector -1-. –  Remove nuts -2- and -3- and take exhaust gas recirculation connecting pipe off exhaust gas recirculation valve. –  Take exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- and exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212- off. Installing Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:   Note Renew seals and gaskets.
