Removing and installing cylinder head > < Piston and cylinder dimensions

–  Remove camshafts → Chapter.
–  Remove the tappets and set down with cam bearing surface facing downwards. Taking care not to mix them up.
–  Remove the spark plugs using the spark plug spanner -T20175-.
–  Set piston of the respective cylinder to „bottom dead centre“.
–  Screw the measuring tool -T20033- into the spark plug thread.
   
–  Fix pressure tool -T20034C-into cylinder head.
–  Connect the pressure hose for the measuring equipment -T20033- to the compressed air at a minimum of 6 bar.
–  Dismount the valve springs, for the intake springs use adapter -T20034/27- and for the exhaust valves use adapter -T20034/24-.
–  Extract the valve stem seals with the extractor -T20058A- .
