Checking oil level

Test conditions

l	Engine oil temperature at least. 60 ?.

l	Vehicle parked on level ground.

l	After stopping the engine, wait some minutes for the oil to return to the sump.

Checking sequence

–	Pull out the oil dipstick, clean it with a clean cloth and reinsert it fully.

–	Then, take out the dipstick again and read the oil level.

Markings on oil dipstick:

a -	Oil must be added. Enough so that the oil level reaches the measurement -b-.

b -	Oil can be topped up Enough so that the oil level may reach the measurement -a-.

c -	Oil may not be added.

Note

The oil level must not exceed the maximum mark -arrow 2- nor should it be below the minimum mark -arrow 1-.
