  Note
In engines for vehicles with DSG gearbox, there should be a gear needle bearing fitted on the crankshaft. Fit it if necessary .
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lever axle -T20061-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-2342
t  Kit -U-40100B-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
l  Gearbox removed.
–  Remove the needle bearing with the interior holding extractor of the kit U-40100B and with the retention tool.
Fitting
–  Fit the needle bearing with the help of the Axle lever -T20061-.
l  The needle bearing should be mounted in a manner that the inscription found on its side remains visible.

l  Needle bearing must be inserted to a depth of -a- = approx. 3 mm
