Exhaust gas recirculation valveN18 with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometerG212: removing and fitting
Exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212-: removing and fitting
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor
t  Specified torques → Anchor.
   
Removing
–  Detach the outer -1- and inner -2- engine covers, by pulling them evenly upwards.
  E10-10038
–  Dismount the flexible air conduit in the intake manifold flap motor -V157-, for this raise a little the fixing clips -1-.
–  Disconnect the electric connector of the intake manifold flap motor -V157--Item 3-.
  Note
Item -2- can be disregarded.
  A23-10149
–  Unscrew the bolts -arrows- and remove the intake manifold flap motor -V157-.
  A23-10150
–  Disconnect the electrical connector -1- on the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with the potentiometer for exhaust gases recirculation -G212-.
–  Unscrew the screws -2, 3 and 4- and remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with the exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212-.
Fitting
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:

Replace the O-ring.
Specified torques .
