t | When a fault related to the coolant temperature sender (-G62-) is stored, the engine control unit uses the intake air temperature as a supplementary value for startup (supplementary startup temperature value). Then it raises the temperature in function of a mathematical model programmed into the engine control unit. For an engine at running temperature, after a certain time, a fixed supplementary value will be displayed. This fixed supplementary value, on the other hand, depends on the intake air temperature. |
