Fault table: codes P0 SAE   Note! t  The fault code table is ordered by codes SAE and V.A.G. t  There are also the EPC and CHECK warning lamps in the instrument panel to warn of faults related to the electronic accelerator and the exhaust system. t  Explanations on fault types (e.g: “Open circuit/short circuit to earth”): → Instructions for use of fault reader. t  If faulty components are indicated: First check the wiring and connectors to those components, and the system earth wiring, following the wiring diagram. This is especially valid for sporadic faults (SP). t  Once eliminated the fault, clear the fault memory → Chapter.   Note! 16497 P0113 035 Intake air temp. sender -G42- Signal very high Sporadic fault   Note! t  16497 = fault index t  P0113 = supplementary index (for now, for USA only) t  030 = number of fault type t  Intake air temperature sender -G42- = faulty current supply or faulty component t  Signal very high = text of fault type t  Sporadic fault = the fault does not occur always, for example: a loose contact

1)	When this fault appears, the engine control unit lights up the EPC warning lamp in the instrument panel. Meaning of EPC warning lamp → Chapter.
