Meaning of EPC warning lamp (electronic accelerator warning lamp) located in instrument panel
Meaning of EPC warning lamp (electronic accelerator warning lamp) located in instrument panel
EPC stands for Electronic Power Control: electronic engine output control (electronic accelerator).

Location of EPC warning lamp:
Once the ignition is on, the engine control unit checks all components related to the operation of the electronic accelerator system.
During the check of these components, the engine control unit lights up the EPC warning lamp for about 1 second. The warning lamp will stay on if a fault is found in the system during the check.
If a fault is found in the electronic accelerator system while the engine is running, the engine control unit lights up the EPC warning lamp (these faults are identified in the fault table). At the same time, the fault is stored in the engine control unit fault memory.
