To avoid risk of accident on test drives, observe the following safety precautions:
For reading out the measurement blocks, use only the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 505X-. The unit must be attached to the rear seat and operated from there by a second person.
   
–  Connecting the central diagnosis -VAS 505X-
Starting „Guided Functions“:
–  Switch on ignition.
–  Touch the field or button on the screen: „Guided functions“.
–  Select the following:
t  Brand
t  Model
t  Model year
t  Variant
t  Engine identification symbols
t  Confirm input data.
t  22 - 4WD electronics
t  22 - Final control diagnosis
–  Start the final control diagnosis and follow the instructions shown on the display.
