Removal
–  Remove brake drum ⇒ Rear brake: removing and installing, → Chapter
–  Removing spring plate bolt.
   
–  Levering with a screwdriver in the -direction of the arrow-, remove the shoes from behind the lower support plate.
–  The shoes remain on top of the lower support plate.
–  Unclip lower retraction spring.
–  Disconnect hand brake cable.
–  Remove brake shoes.
–  Place brake shoes in a workshop vice.

–  Remove wedge draft spring.
–  Remove upper retraction spring.

–  Unclip contact spring.
