  Note!
Due to the automatic adjustment of the rear brake, it is not necessary to readjust the hand brake It is only necessary to readjust the the rear brake if the hand brake cables, the brake back plate or the brake pads/shoes have ben replaced.
–  Let off hand brake.
   
–  Remove cover -1-.
–  Unscrew bolts -2-.
–  Remove hand brake lever cover.
–  Strongly operate the brake pedal once.

–  Tighten the hand brake lever by 4 notches.
–  Tighten the adjusting nuts -arrow- until it is difficult to turn the wheels by hand.
–  Let off hand brake and check if both wheels turn freely. If necessary loosen adjusting nuts.
