Note!| t | After replacing the brake cylinders, the brake back plates and the brake shoes, the brake pedal must be depressed several times while vehicle is stopped, so that the brake pads find their correct service status position. |
| t | Use an extraction bottle, which should only come into contact with the brake fluid, to extract brake fluid from the deposit. Brake fluid is toxic and should never be sucked into the mouth through a flexible tube! |
| t | Before uncoupling a brake hose from the brake cylinder, the shoe -V.A.G 1788/10- must be fitted. |

| – | Remove brake back plate |

| – | Install brake back plate |
| – | Screw in the brake pipe → Item |
| – | Unblock the brake pedal |
| – | Install wheel bushing along with wheel bearing → Running gear; axles; steering;; Rep. Gr.42 |

| – | Bleeding the exhaust system → Chapter |
