1Brake system warning lamp -K118-

ABS warning lamp -K47-
t  If after switching on ignition, and completing check process, ABS warning lamp -K47- does not go out, the causes could be the following:
a - Voltage supply is less than 10 volts
b - There is a fault in ABS
c - There is a sporadic fault in the rev. sensor which has remained in the system since the last start up.
d - The connection has been interrupted between the dash panel insert and the control unit -J104-: → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
e - The dash panel insert has been interrupted.
If there is a fault in the ABS, “b”, the system will remain disconnected but the conventional brake system will remain functioning perfectly.
If it is beacaus of a fault in the sensor, “c” , the ABS warning lamp -K47- will automatically switch off when after having started up engine again, a speed of 20 Km/h is obtained.
ABS warning lamp -K47- and brake system warning lamp -K118-
   
t  If the ABS warning lamp goes out -2-, but the warning lamp of the brake system -1- remains lit up, it could be because of the following:
a - Hand brake is on.
b - Brake fluid level is too low.
c - There is a fault in the brake system warning lamp activation-K118-: → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
t  If ABS warning lamp -K47- lights up along with the brake warning lamp -K118- it means that the ABS system is not functioning.
  Caution
If the ABS warning lamp -K47- and the brake system warning lamp -K118- have lit up, the rear wheels could block up before braking.
