Note!
It will only be necessary to re-adjust the hand brake if the cables, brake back plate or brake pads are replaced.
Work sequence
–
Raise the vehicle.
–
Release hand brake.
–
Dismounting the center console:
→ General body repairs, assembly work, interior; Rep. Gr.68

With the vehicle stationary, press brake pedal,
–
Tighten the hand brake lever by 4 notches.
–
Tighten the adjusting nuts
-arrows-
until it is difficult to turn the wheels by hand.
–
Let off hand brake and check if both wheels turn freely. If necessary loosen adjusting nuts.
–
Tighten the adjustment bolts by the locknuts.
Note!
Due to the automatic adjustment of the rear brake, it is not necessary to readjust the hand brake
