t  Brake pedal support
Vehicles with ABS
t  Fault reader -V.A.G 1551- or vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552- with cable -V.A.G 1551/3A-
Work sequence
  Note!
In vehicles with ABS, the bleeding of the brakes is carried out in the same way as vehicles with a conventional braking system.
Connect brake filling/bleeding apparatus -SAT 1150-.

–  Fit brake pedal support -1-.
–  Operate brake pedal by means of the pedal support.
–  Open bleeding screws in the prescribed order and bleed the wheel brake cylinders or calipers.
Bleeding sequence
1 - Rear right wheel brake cylinder/brake caliper
2 - Rear left wheel brake cylinder/brake caliper
3 - Front right brake caliper
4 - Front left brake caliper
Vehicles with ABS
–  After having bled the air, a test run must be carried out. During this test run, at least one ABS activation must take place.
