| Brake system tester -V.A.G 1310 A- |
| The brake system (hydraulic unit, hoses, pipes and calipers) must be leak-free and in perfect working order. |

| Remove the bleeding valve from one of the front brake calipers. Fit the brake system pressure tester -V.A.G 1310 A- and bleed the air. |

| Press the pedal until the pressure gauge indicates 50 bar. During this 45 secnod test the pressure not no be more than 4 bar. |

| Replace the master cylinder → Chapter, General assembly diagram: Brake servo / Master brake cylinder. |
