To replace the bonded rubber bearing of the strut: replace Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.

Note Always use protective jaws when clamping aluminium links in a vice.

Removing inner bush –  Mark the assembly position of the used bearing.

Installation position of bush –  Transfer the assembly marking of the used bearing on the new bearing

Installing inner bush –  Insert bush -A- in 3.2 mm recess in thrust piece -3346/1-. –  Press in bearing bearing to stop.

Removing outer bush

Installing outer bush Use Assembly grease G 294 421 A1 for pressing which is diluted 1:100 with water. –  Press in the bearing with centring. The chamfer of the bearing and that of the track control link should point to each other.
